The tragic death of a child in Polmont has been reported. Our thoughts go to their family and everyone who knew, and cared for them. Prison is no place for a child. Scottish Parliament passed a law committing to no child going to prison. This reinforces the urgency of implementing it.

Prison is no place for children. Earlier this year, after years of campaigning Scottish Parliament passed a law to prevent this. It should have been commenced immediately. @Scotgov was repeatedly warned that continuing this practice breached children's rights and risked their lives.

Poverty is the biggest human rights issue for children in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, impacting rights to life, education, play, health, & development. Deeply disappointed GOV.UK won't end discriminatory 2-child benefit cap, trapping thousands of children in poverty. Statement: bit.ly/4cLh8mh

As we entering the final week of celebrations for our #KenYerRights campaign, the work to implement the #uncrc doesn't stop there! Let's make sure that every child in #scotland has access to their rights and that their ideas are heard and realised!
