Under-Secretary of State Outi Holopainen participated in the annual ministerial meeting of Council of Europe in 🇱🇺. The 46 member states focused on the role of the organisation in the new geopolitical context, the promotion of democracy, human rights and rule of law, and support for Ukraine.

In Antalya 🇹🇷 today at the NATO informal meeting. We are preparing the approaching NATO Summit. Main priorities for Finland: Strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defence in face of Russia’s long-term threat, boosting defence spending and ensuring long-term support for Ukraine.
