Weekend fixture Ullswater v Braithwaite FC 📅Saturday 4th January ⏰2pm 📍King George, Patterdale 🏆Westmorland Football League Div 2 We return to action (weather permitting) with a big game at home to Braithwaite.

As below there is no point in delaying the inevitable and our home fixture scheduled for this Saturday against AmblesideUnitedFC will be called off at 11am tomorrow. Still a thick blanket of snow on the pitch and absolutely frozen solid. We will try and make a start on Saturday 18th Jan!

Weekend fixture Ullswater v Kirkoswald FC 📅Saturday 18th January ⏰1.30pm 📍King George, Patterdale 🏆Senior Cup We should finally kick off our 2025 with a tough game against first division Kirkoswald in the senior cup. All support welcome to cheer the lads on!

Result Ullswater 1-5 Kirkoswald Scorer was Dan Owen We exit the senior cup with a defeat against a quality outfit from KO. We took an early lead but couldn’t hold out for too long as some quality finishing saw KO take the game away from us. Starting line up ⬇️

Weekend fixture Ullswater v Cartmel AFC 📅 Saturday 25th January ⏰1.30pm 📍King George, Patterdale 🏆 Junior Cup 1/4 final For the 9th time out of our last 10 games, We are in cup action this weekend as we host high flying Cartmel from our division. All support welcome!

Result Ullswater 2-1 Cartmel Scorers were Callum Wills and Matty Hodgson We produce a gritty display and battle hard to turn around a 1-0 deficit from the first half to edge out Cartmel and progress into the semi final of the junior cup! Line up below ⬇️

Weekend fixture Ullswater v Carnforth Rangers FC A We finally return to league action as we look to catch up on fixtures and points on the teams above us. After a great win last weekend, The lads are keen to go as we host a good young side. All support welcome as always!

Result Ullswater 0-3 Carnforth Rangers A Poor day at the office for us but we will dust ourselves down and try again next week to get that first win of the season. Well done to our opponents on the win! Starting line up ⬇️

Weekend fixture Ullswater v Braithwaite FC A big game for us this weekend and one we must win to still give ourselves a chance of staying in division two. Lads are keen to make amends for last weekends below par performance. All support welcome to cheer us on!

Result Ullswater 2-3 Braithwaite Scorer was Steve Malarkey (2) A dreadful first 45 minutes saw us 3-0 down at the break and in truth we never put up a much better fight in the second half until two late goals brought the score line closer than it should have been. Line up ⬇️

No fixture for us this weekend as Kendal County Reserves couldn’t raise a team. Been there ourselves this season and we know how it feels having to do it so no complaints and we wish them all the best! Will look forward to meeting again later on in the season.

Everyone at the Ullswater is devastated to learn of the tragic news of yesterday’s incident at Kendal Rugby Club. The thoughts of all are with GT7, the families and all friends & loved ones. A minute’s silence will held for poppy on before our game this weekend. ❤️⚽️
