Two more days to apply to come work with us in Glasgow! Post closes on Friday 20th October. See bit.ly/QuantumFluidsP… or contact me @drlabgnome for more details. @EQOP Physics, University of Strathclyde

(1/2) Come join us in the Theory of Condensed Matter group in the Cavendish Laboratory Cambridge University For PhD studentships see (Nov deadline): tcm.phy.cam.ac.uk/vacancies/post… For postdoctoral fellowships (various deadlines): tcm.phy.cam.ac.uk/vacancies/post…

The ever-growing team of Cambridge AION atom interferometry detector students enjoyed meeting the rest of the collaboration and discussing their work at the meeting! Here Cavendish Laboratory we work on projects ranging from cooling and trapping cold strontium, to simulations of atom interferometry!

We can't wait for the visit of Prof. Ulrich Schneider Ulrich Schneider from Cambridge MBQD, University of Cambridge. He will give a seminar on exotic bosonic phases with quantum gases in #quasiperiodic potentials. Thanks to @fisica_UNIFI for organizing the seminar! @

Luca Luca Donini is at #APSMarch to present our latest results from the #KagomeLattice lab! He'll discuss experiments on triangular and kagome optical lattices at positive and negative absolute temperature. Check out his talk (Tuesday) and poster (Thursday) - details below!

🛰️ We would like to highlight our satellite meetings on 22-24th July. Registration for the satellite meetings are open until mid June. Please see individual websites for details: Cambridge: manybody.phy.cam.ac.uk/ICAPSatellite Durham: durham-qlm.uk/events/confere… Sussex: sussex.ac.uk/physics/resear…

Chen has had a great week at the #ICAP2024 summer school in Oxford! He also presented a poster on some of our work on preparing strontium for #AtomInterferometry as part of AION atom interferometry detector.

It was a pleasure to organise this together with Dr Tiffany Harte and the whole team. Many thanks to all participants for a great conference. I learned a lot.
