Blackboard is suffering from a global DNS issue that is impacting access for many users. A fix has been deployed but will take time to propagate across the network. Further info here status.blackboard.com but website only visible to those not impacted by the DNS problem! 🤔

There seems to be on issue with the Portal this morning and we are aware that many staff need Blackboard access for exam boards today. Remember the direct route via learning.ulster.ac.uk always works.

Now that the exam boards are largely complete we have to finally disable the unsupported Turnitin building block in Blackboard. This will not impact those good people who have been using the supported LTI integration. More information at ulster.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BL…

Turnitin have terminally disabled the old Building Block in Blackboard (as we expected) which will be causing issues for anyone who had not updated to LTI. If you are having issues with Turnitin today, it is likely to be this issue, ulster.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BL…
