This afternoon fire crews from wholetime and on-call attended the Ulverston rememberance parade. Today we remember the service and sacrifice of all those that have defended our freedoms and protected our way of life. #wewillrememberthem

We all braved the rain this morning to have a very informative talk with firefighters from Ulverston Blue Light HUB and Cumbria Police speed awareness team about how they help reduce the number of serious accidents on our roads. We all did well, only reaching speeds of around 12mph!! 😀
