All the work we do is enabled by patient's data which is possible due to the trust systems that have been built between data providers, patients and researchers. Great talk today by Dr. Nicola Byrne from @ndgoffice #HDRUKConference

Fantastic talk from Prof. Caroline Jay today at #HDRUKConference -“Nobody really knows what skills we need in the future” The landscape of data science is in constant evolution and we must watch how the technology changes to ensure we have the right skills at the right time

We are talking about #OpenScience at #HDRUKConference with @prieto_alhambra With the The BMJ announcing just yesterday that they’ll require all trials to publish the data and code, when best to push forward the conversation!

Prof. Mark Mon-Williams is starting us off today at The Alan Turing Institute fringe event : “Inequities are crippling us” -connected data has the power to help us understand these inequalities and intervene

Today myself and @BadgerBrhall spoke to 360 children at Robyn’s primary school about our jobs in Science - it was terrifying to say the least but we did it , got great feedback, lots of smiles and claps and best of all we made Robyn proud 💖🤓

Very insightful read from John Crace on his experience of having a heart attack in The Guardian last week. Patients voices help us identify research gaps and it empowers patients to know what is happening to them too. Wishing you a speedy recovery too, John! theguardian.com/society/2024/m…

Good quote from Geoff Hall (no relation!) today - ‘clinical trials are a perfect way to collect perfect data on an imperfect population’ - highlighting the important role of real world evidence from real world data. #LTHTRI24

“We wanted to be able to give clinicians and patients the information they needed about the long term planning after a heart attack” HDRUK has recently published a case study featuring our latest paper on long term health outcomes after an MI. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ hdruk.ac.uk/case-studies/d…
