Hi all, meet Bridget! She is one of our PGY4s with special interest in neuromuscular. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys traveling, hiking and wintertime adventures like skiing and snowshoeing.

Brandy is a PGY3 resident. She is grateful to be a part of a program that supports her as a parent while she is in her training. And Edmonton really is the best city to live and work in. Big enough to offer the arts, music, and athletics while still having a small town feel.

Gurpreet is a PGY3 resident. He is interested in Neuromuscular and Stroke. He enjoys playing sports and being active.

Emily is a PGY3 resident. Her favourite activities outside of residency are travelling and trying out new foods and restaurants (which Edmonton is fantastic for 🍜🌮)

Arth is a PGY3 Neurology resident. He loves to divide his time in thirds. One third in the hospital, one third travelling, and one third trying new food.

Megan is a PGY3 Neurology resident! A fun fact about her is she is a self proclaimed apple connoisseur and can identify any apple 🍎 Outside of apple identification (and residency!!), she loves exploring Edmontons coffee shops (@remedycafe) and traveling!

Sam is a PGY2 resident. She enjoys hiking in the rain and winning at trivia night with her co-residents.

Ryan is a PGY-2 resident who enjoys traveling with his partner, and tasting all the cuisines of the world. The first photo is from his honeymoon to Singapore, and the second photo is the first hang out with his co-residents!

George is a PGY2 resident who enjoys hanging out with his co-residents, playing hockey, and visiting his home nation of Australia!

Liam is one of our second year residents. He enjoys outdoor adventures both with his colleagues and solo. The first picture is in Canmore at the annual Rocky Mountain Basic Science Symposium, and the latter is on the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina!

Jeyaram is a PGY2 resident. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is interested in learning new skills and never gives up on it. He is really into Nunchucks and Bo Staff (stick fighting), also interested in Card and Math Magics and Juggling!

Lais is a PGY1 resident. Outside of residency, she enjoys traveling and loves spending time with her family in the ravines, exploring the RAM, and starting the day with a cozy breakfast at OEB. The second photo is at the Emily Murphy park!

Aya is one of our PGY1 residents. Outside of residency she likes to indulge in healthy snacks (fries are technically vegetables, right?) and capturing photos from her travels!

Elena is a PGY-1. Outside of residency she loves to eat and work out. On New Year’s Day her family makes Vasilopita (a Greek Almond cake) with a coin hidden inside. She has yet to get the lucky coin! The second picture is from the Movement Disorders Conference in Phoenix.

Alexa is PGY 1 resident coming from the University of Calgary. Outside of residency she is an avid knitter who likes to spend time cuddling her cat, but she also loves to travel and spend time outdoors (even in the cold!).

Daniel is a PGY-1 resident. He enjoys being too emotionally invested in the Edmonton Oilers, playing sports, being outdoors, and nerding out with all-things neurology. The second picture is from a pumpkin carving session with some of the PGY-1s!
