Members of CCRCE Health Promoting Schools NS Education and Early Childhood Development UpLift present to CCRCE #ChignectoFamily about the Physical Active Framework and the focus areas for schools.

Our province cares about the health of its youth. Through our advisory and working committees, UpLift brings together key players from Nova Scotia Gov., health and education to set joint goals, strengthen relationships and coordinate the delivery of health-promoting initiatives in schools.

UpLift has been an amazing partner in our schools supporting student led, student wellness and sustainability focused initiatives. Amazing projects coming up and we can’t wait to see what our SRCE Health Promoting Schools and CYCP teams and our Strait Regional Centre for Education students are up to!

Youth are experts in their own lives. Excited to share our recent publication in Health Promotion International (OUP) with Hilary Caldwell, PhD (she/her) & co-authors entitled, "Process and experience of youth researchers within a Health Promoting Schools study in Nova Scotia, Canada". academic.oup.com/heapro/article…
