The Bee Orchids are back. Although we have to maintain a fairly tidy propagation area to stop weed seeds blowing into our stock we’ve left some areas unmolested and have been rewarded with these treasures again!

Beautiful Borinda papyrifera to beat the Monday Blues. Seems to be relishing this washout summer, and has made excellent growth this year. The epithet ‘papyrifera’ refers to the large papery culm sheaths that fall to reveal the powdery blue canes. #BorindaPapyrifera
