#AUA22 was invigorating for many reasons. Connecting with my mentor and the women in Urology who continue to inspire and encourage me was definitely the highlight. Do we have to wait a whole year for the next one?

As a woman in physics, I was a rarity. Far more than I am as a woman in surgery. Thank you to all the men who made it clear that there was a place for me. May we one day soon have a world where a letter like this is no longer needed. #AllyshipInAction #WomenInSTEM 🥲

Urology match stats show ➡️ 45% of matched applicants identify as women! This is remarkable for a field that is 11% women at the practicing level. I believe this is in part due to social media, representation, advocacy and organizations such as SWIU 💕

I couldn’t be any more excited! I’m looking forward to joining the Michigan family.
