We had such a fun lunar new year. It started with a delicious Chinese inspired meal for the whole school; followed by a fascinating assembly from our Head of Mandarin. Then some of our Sixth Form Students preformed an exciting Dragon Dance. Happy Year Of The Snake!

The TUS sixth form have so far raised £352 for Shelter UK by selling kindness roses during Valentine's week. Our overall target is to raise £5005 during 2025 to celebrate our 505th anniversary! Shelter

We were given a fantastic opportunity to see ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’. The Urswick Youth theatre students thoroughly enjoyed the show and said was unlike anything they have seen before! It has inspired them for their own performance in the theatre happening soon.

Sixth Form students pass their Mandarin HSK3 and 4 exams after just 4 months on a year-long course. HSK4 is a Mandarin proficiency exam taken usually by university students, and we are very proud of the students' hard work! Now they turn their attention to the HSK5 exam. 加油！

As a special end-of term treat to celebrate some of our hard-working, community-driven sixth form students, we arranged a rewards trip to Gravity Max where they enjoyed e-karting, VR darts and the arcade!

Year 9 students recently completed a poster task to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day and as a culmination of their unit of work on the Second World War. The top entries will receive a prize and have been entered into a Hackney wide competition!
