#CHUK Urology services received a boost through 3 American Specialists in Adult reconstructive Urology.The surgeons from University of Utah's Center for Global Surgery are here for a week-long tour of service under GU-IMPACTS suporting our Specialists&training of new surgeons in the sub-specialty.
The team currently at #CHUK includes; Dr Greg Joice from Columbia University, Dr Jane Kurtzman&Dr Jeremy Myers from the University of Utah,supporting in Surgical training&Clinical Education in partnership with Rwanda urological association to develop a sustainable sub-specialty through Capacity building.
Excited about the potential partnership with the Rwandan Urologic Association, Rwandan Ministry of Health and GU-IMPACTS in creating high value local fellowships for training in urologic subspecialties - it was a productive and wonderful winter trip to @hospitalCHUK
