1/2 Excited to see 30 women finally received their caps tonight from Scottish FA decades after they represented Scotland. Researching and finding these women has been a massive team effort lead by Karen Fraser and assisted by Andy Mitchell the legendary Elsie Cook and myself.

I started working in Paisley in August and on lunchtime walks, the place has charmed me. It's a beautiful town. Spot on column from Gabriella Bennett Powerhouse Paisley is showing us how to revitalise high streets thetimes.co.uk/article/5c37bf…

We're going to show this in Glasgow, maybe Edinburgh too, in Autumn with Living Rent. Fiadh Tubridy from CATU Ireland will be discussing the research project on the rent strikes and the film itself. Living Rent Living Rent Glasgow Living Rent Edinburgh

Earlier this year I spoke to Grangemouth workers with @riyokoshibe and we published this report for Just Transition Commission. These workers are keen to use their skills to transition to green manufacturing. Any outcome which leaves them on the scrapheap is appalling. justtransition.scot/publication/th…

Well done PACE Youth Theatre on an amazing opening night at Paisley Arts Centre! Gave us all the right feels, had us crying with laughter & craving super noodles. Was lovely seeing so many friendly faces too ☺️ Congrats to all the wonderful cast, crew & creators. A must see! Jenni Mason

#brutalglasgow: 2 days to go.. The exhibition explores 8 brutalist buildings, with commentary from architectural writers, as well as archive material & personal recollections. Here's a snippet from The Gallowgate Towers, part of the Disappearing Glasgow project by Chris Leslie

The Keep Grangemouth Working campaign has been spirited and forward looking in demanding an extension to the life of the refinery, which is facing closure in months, so that it can receive investment as part of a transition to green manufacturing. Thanks to them for the kind animation!

Indyref was shaped by decades of economic and political change. I wrote this article for Economics Observatory about how deindustrialisation - the closure of factories, mines, shipyards and steelworks - has been pivotal to the debate over Scotland's future. economicsobservatory.com/how-has-deindu…
