Happy Birthday! It's 123 years since the Admiralty approved the formation of the Royal Marines Artillery Cadet Corps at Eastney. Joined by the Royal Naval Cadet Corps in 1904 to later become Volunteer Cadet Corps.
Brilliant to join Lt (VCC) Gary Fletcher to witness the beret-earning Exercise First Steps, where our future Marine Cadets showcase their readiness and commitment.

Great to see cadets from across Royal Navy Cadet Forces working together to represent their respective organisations and shine a torch for the next generation. The enjoyment and benefit from these confidence building events is significant, all part of the worth of cadet service.
This week, @ComdVCC retires after 42 years exemplary service to Volunteer Cadet Corps. Holding nearly every position within the VCC, including Company Commander, Training Officer, Chief Instructor, Adjutant and latterly Commander VCC, we are sad to see Col Spratt leaving us. Read more ⤵️

We are unbelievably proud to have attended the Chattri Memorial Service yesterday, representing the Volunteer Cadet Corps. The memorial pays homage to the sacrifices of Hindu, Sikh and Muslim service personnel in the First World War. We will remember them.
