Yesterday I met with 🇹🇭 GEN Ukris. We discussed our long history of defence engagement, including training and exercises, and opportunities to strengthen our partnership. I’m excited to see this expand with 🇹🇭’s participation in Ex Talisman Sabre for the first time in 2025.

Ahead of #AnzacDay25 I welcomed GEN Tokel 🇹🇷 & MAJGEN King 🇳🇿 to Australia & discussed our countries' enduring friendship. The courage, mateship & mutual respect forged on the 1915 battlefields, remain strong to this day. Thank you for joining us to commemorate Anzac Day.

A great opportunity to present at the D+I Conference in Canberra. We discussed Defence’s focus on delivering capability to our sailors, soldiers and aviators as soon as possible. Defence industry are our partners, and we must work together to deliver capability.

Today is 80 years since Victory in the Pacific, marking the end of WWII for Australians. I’m privileged to have attended the Last Post Ceremony at Aust War Memorial alongside WWII veterans to honour the service and sacrifice of those who served in the armed forces during the war.

Congratulations 🇹🇱 on the 50th anniversary of the National Liberation Armed Forces of Timor-Leste. It was a privilege to join you on this special day of celebration. 🇦🇺 and 🇹🇱 military cooperation dates back to WWII and I’m honoured to have celebrated FANTIL Day with them.

Great to spend time with Indonesian Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin during his visit for the 🇦🇺 🇮🇩 2+2. We share a maritime border & strong defence relationship with Indonesia, as well as a commitment to a prosperous Indo-Pacific, and it was great to strengthen our relationship.
