All trade estimates for USDA's reports due Friday at 11am CST. All eyes will be on U.S. crop production as well as quarterly stocks. U.S. corn & soy yields are seen drifting slightly lower. However, Brazil's soybean production is expected to rise.

U.S. harvested corn area came in above expectations but soybean acres came in below. Both crops saw yield reductions far larger than analysts predicted - both yields were below the range of analyst estimates.

All Reuters trade estimates for USDA's WASDE report due out Tuesday at 11 am CT. South American crops will be in focus w/ Brazil in the early stages of both soy harvest & corn planting, and Argentina having faced some weather woes. U.S. demand estimates will also be of interest.

USDA makes a bigger-than-expected cut to Argentina's soybean crop but leaves Brazil's beans unchanged. Both corn crops were reduced by 1 mmt.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธU.S. corn was 12% planted as of Sunday, slightly ahead of the average and trade expectations. Soybeans, spring wheat and cotton planting are all at or ahead of their normal planting paces at this early stage.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธU.S. spring planting is moving at a quicker-than-average pace and very similar to the year-ago pace. #Corn is 24% planted, though a couple states are behind due to recent rains. Winter #wheat conditions jumped - they are now equal to a year ago.
