We are working hard in summer school. We are also having some fun learning. Last Friday, we learned about force and practiced using a ruler while making domino runs. Today we reviewed some geometric shapes while making spinners. And our birthday boy brought some popsicles.

Awesome night last night for our Lady Dragons volleyball with wins over ACCHS and Oskaloosa going 2-0 on the night in varsity competition and JV going 1-1 with a win over ACCHS. Way to go ladies!!!

VFHS students engaged in various activities at the Capper Foundation during during the Service Learning day on November 21st . Thank you to everyone for making this day a big success!

Culinary classes hosted their annual Senior Citizen dinner today serving over 60 meals, with help from various groups across the buildings. To include NHS, HS and Elementary Music, Journalism, and Graphic Design among others. Great job to all students, staff, and volunteers!

Congratulations to all VFHS students and staff who were recognized last Friday at our semester awards ceremony. Thank you to the FFA and Journalism students and sponsors as well for making this a great event!
