Excited to announce that collaborative work between the Bostina lab (Bostina Lab) and PHI lab (Peter Fineran) at University of Otago and the Wolf lab (Wolf Lab) at OIST, has been published in Nature Communications. Congratulations all :) nature.com/articles/s4146…

I'm happy to see our collaboration with PHAGEBio lone brøndsted out on npj viruses! I had a fun time modelling T-even #phages adhesin proteins. Verifying that we can use #AF2 bias to select true binders was even cooler. Congrats to Veronika Lutz and all nature.com/articles/s4429…

Our latest work is out: we designed dual GLP1R/GCGR agonists—cyclic peptides that activate both metabolic receptors, entirely from sequence alone. This has never been done before. 🔗 biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Had a fantastic time at the first Danish Viruses of Microbes meeting! Great to see all the cutting-edge phage research in the Nordics. Honored to present RBPseg + the tail fiber structural atlas. Thanks for the great questions & feedback! #DKVoM25 #Phages

Excited to present CryoBoltz ❄️⚡, a multiscale guidance approach for steering AlphaFold3/Boltz-1 to sample structures that are consistent with experimental cryo-EM density maps. 🧵1/7 arxiv.org/abs/2506.04490 Joint work with Axel Levy Gordon Wetzstein & Ellen Zhong!

What determines who a phage can infect? We tackled this question for temperate phages of Klebsiella — a bacterial pathogen — using a genome-wide association study (GWAS) and a massive protein testing effort. 👇 A thread!
