Thanks to Dj John Q, students in our Literacy & DJ summer camp at McFerran Preparatory have been learning about the history of Hip-Hop and how to spin the 1s and 2s. Today was the last day of camp for the week before the holiday, but students will start back learning on Monday!

Today, staff from the amazing Kentucky Science Center Center worked with students in our Literacy & Aquatics program at McFerran Preparatory. Students learned how oil spills can negatively affect our water sources and even go to clean up their own simulated oil spill using household products.
