@VScodeJava 1.24.0 is released! A lot of improvements to code assist, and snippets made it into this release. We also automatically suggest static members in code assist if their usage is detected from other files. See github.com/redhat-develop… for details.

VSCode Java 1.25.0 has been released! We've added support for Java 21 standard features. Preview feature support will come at a later date. There is also experimental support for configuring projects to be imported. See github.com/redhat-develop… for details.

Woot! Java 22 support is now available in pre-releases!

VSCode Java 1.29.0 has been released. Java 22 support has been added, improvements to implicitly declared classes, an enhanced server status bar item, as well as the option to group completion items of overloaded methods. See github.com/redhat-develop… for details.

VSCode Java 1.31.0 has been released! The focus was on performance, as we reduced project import times, and stabilized importing larger Maven projects. Also some minor improvements to typing, and enhanced editor paste support. See github.com/redhat-develop… for details.

VSCode Java 1.32.0 has been released! A project import issue, potentially leading to forever builds was resolved, along with much needed fixes to Lombok support. We also made improvements to code assist, and code actions on older machines. See github.com/redhat-develop… for details.

VSCode Java 1.36.0 has been released with a spooooky new feature. We added experimental support for compiling with 'javac' (requires Java 23). Users are able to switch between the 2 ('ecj', 'javac') with the same underlying features. See github.com/redhat-develop… for details.
