Deep into maker PBL training as we work with over 50 educators in preparation open 8 more VW eLabs in August. The movement continues!

That’s a wrap! 30 hours of professional development with some incredible teachers and administrators from Hamilton County Schools and Walker Valley High School as we lay the foundation for the next 8 VW eLabs in our region! Thank you VW Chattanooga and PEF Chattanooga for all of the support!

3rd graders @ Apison Elementary are getting a refresh on the Engineering Design Process as they 3D design coins for their house competition. Mr. Bevil combines something new with something the Ss feel comfortable with to have productive struggle instead of frustration! #VWeLabs

5th graders at Calvin Donaldson are earning their first FabFolio skill while building cabins that can withstand a dust storm. Today they’re focusing on developing a plan with materials and measurements and then showing that they’re using appropriate tools for the job. VW eLabs

Using Tinkercad for learning the basics of wiring electrical circuits is always one of my more enjoyable lessons. Kids learn the basics ✅ It is safer than teaching them how to solder cathodes ✅ It’s on their Chromebook so they have fun while doing it ✅ A win for everyone!
