Cracking night at CMO HQ last night, our best of 2025 to date: 206/68 including a New for Garden species ~ Triaxomera parasitella (Brindled Fungus Moth), just the 2nd record in TG04, the 1st was exactly 21 years ago. Stunning moth! #cleymothobs #norfolkmoths #teammoth

A rare music post. 38 years this week I dipped my toes into the waters of Neil Young gigs. I was 19, deep diving into Neil's music & was so excited to see Crazy Horse at the NEC & Wembley. Ended up on the "milk train" back to Exeter from Paddington, exhausted but so happy. 🕊️☮️🕊️

Super time in Kent last week ~ highlights galore 🙂 A few posts to come over the next day or two & here's some of the county's wonderful orchids to start: Late Spider, Lizard (at Sandwich) & Fly (at Denge) + Lady, Greater Butterfly (Denge) & Bee near Sevenoaks. Marvellous!

Kentish Glory... ...the Holy Trinity of early June mothing in the Garden of England. Black-veined Moth Hypercallia citrinalis ...and the legendary, fabled Fiery Clearwing. We were *so* happy to see this stunning trio of (very different looking) magical moths. #teammoth

Elegance isn't something that's attributed to moths very often, but I'm definitely all-in on Black-veined Moth being the most elegant & graceful moth I've seen in Britain. Our visit was in sunny, very blustery weather & our hard work paid off with this beauty. #teammoth
