I’m so tired of the violence. The Pearl St Mall is a place of extremely happy memories for me. Today, someone used this place to make some kind of demented political statement. My heart is sad for the injured and sad about another violent event in Colorado.

Roy Romer stole the show at the DemFest Gala, reminding me of why he was governor. He rallied the crowd with an honest and Colorado common-sense vision for winning people back. I miss hearing from someone who exemplifies what makes Colorado different.

Proud that Governor Polis signed HB25-1290 into law. This sends a clear message: we will not tolerate violence against RTD workers. They keep our communities moving and deserve safety, respect, and dignity on the job.

My local government asked for this. And with the governor's signature, they will have the ability to control the tipped wage at the local level. I hope Denver will take action to ensure we remain competitive in the region.

This bill, although it was taken lightly, is meant to inform people that it is important to vent the gas stove to the exterior of their gas home. Just as you would with your furnace or water heater. Almost 90% of people do not do this.
