Our superstar PhD student Valerie Vandenbempt will be presenting her #scRNASeq data about the effects of short chain fatty acids on immune infiltrated endocrine islets in #autoimmune #diabetes. Please visit the SO20 on Tuesday at 1pm!

Exciting to see how many single-cell RNA-seq experiments has already been done on islet cells and how we are still publishing new algorithms to use this data more efficient and improve our understanding of diabetes. Very nice talk by Dr Nils Wierup Signal Transduction & Metabolism Laboratory EASD #EASD2022

That’s a wrap! This week was an intense but rewarding week. I am happy with all the interesting talks and people I met. I am looking forward to meet everybody in Hamburg at EASD 2023. #EASD2022 EASD EASDelearning Signal Transduction & Metabolism Laboratory
