❓When will a decision be announced about the start of the school year? ➡️JCPS is continuing to listen to our staff & the community as we plan for the start of the school year. We will share more information with the Jefferson County Board of Education next Tuesday, July 21.

❓ We received hundreds of questions and comments from the community during our Virtual Town Hall last night. We are sharing some of the most common ones on our social media throughout the day. Thank you for your participation!

❓ If we start the year on NTI, will it look like it did in the spring? ➡️ No. Our team is working diligently to ensure it is a more robust and engaging program for all of our students. It would require daily interaction between the teachers and students.

❓ Will the Virtual Academy be just like NTI? ➡️ No. The Virtual Academy will be a full-time online school option that families will elect for a certain amount of time. It will differ in its rigor, the way instruction is conveyed, participation requirements, & grading.

❓ Can we switch back and forth between in-person instruction and virtual learning? ➡️ No. We are asking families to make a commitment for at least the first half of the year and possibly longer so we can make staffing and transportation decisions.
