Excited to share our article w/ Chris Anderson and Sivan Hirsh-Hoefler now in print in British Jnl Poli Sci. We study the relationship between state-level income inequality, individual income, and willingness to fight for one's country in war using World Values Survey 👇1/4 cambridge.org/core/journals/…

We find that 1. High country-level income inequality is associated w/ low willingness to fight for one's country; 2. The rich are less willing to fight than the poor when income inequality is high; 3. No difference between the rich and the poor when inequality is low 2/4
