Kalyani Bambal Another variety of ependymal neoplasm is the myxopapillary ependymoma. Note the papillary architecture and myxoid background. Mucoid balls often seen best on smear prep. These tumors are found at the caudal spinal cord (conus medullaris/filum terminale).
