I was honoured to be involved with this The Lancet Commission as part of the lived experience group led by Amy Chandler - we were able to raise important points about ongoing punitive treatment & the value of peer support & engaging with diverse voices: thelancet.com/journals/lance…

To be clear: we do not need more information on the scheme or on the outcomes of its trials to know that this is not an initiative that has any place in mental health hospitals.
