Consultant interview ✅ Heartlands - the place where I started off as a baby paediatrician and where I’ve spent half my training - absolutely delighted and over the moon to have accepted a substantive consultant post today and join the brilliant consultant team 😊 God is good!

A momentous day - after taking the scenic route through 9 years of paediatric training, many hurdles, & amassing most of the possible ARCP outcomes along the way - I finally add a new one to my collection. Outcome 6 - training completed and CCT here I come! Delighted & relieved😊

Night shift 4 of 4… And more importantly, my last ever night shift as a registrar 😃 What could possibly go wrong?! Will the disaster magnet final leave me, or will it be fireworks? Have warned the boss I plan to phone frequently to maximise final training opportunity…
