My sister was quoted in the guardian saying what many of us were feeling about the Ottawa anti-vax occupation. “You just don’t feel 100% safe any more…” Alexa Reedman theguardian.com/world/2022/feb…

Highly recommend following the Gender Pay Gap Bot this #IWD2022 . 😂

Congratulations to Alex Muccilli for winning the Robert Conn Resident Advocate Award! We can’t imagine anyone more deserving. We are so proud and so thankful to have you as a teacher and advocate! 🎉🥳

Congratulations and our warmest welcome to Alexander, Amy, Anne, Elnaz, Georgia, Michelle, Olumide, and Paula who are joining our family of U of T Adult Neurology Residents UToronto Neurology 🧠 🥳 👏 🍾 Look forward to seeing you all grow and thrive over the next 5 years! I am so proud of Victoria Reedman who took the top prize at Higgins Day, where she presented some data from a year of work on our Neurology Clinic for Underrepresented Populations (i.e. those living with homelessness, LGBTQ+, uninsured). She is a ⭐️ and has endless compassion.

Clinic with a few of our awesome residents U of T Adult Neurology Residents last week at the #BARLOMSClinic SMHNeurology Unity Health Toronto! Lucky to work with these kids (and friends)! 😊🧠🤓🥰

The NYT crossword did a Taylor Swift theme. I can officially die happy. Never have I felt so seen.

Strong Toronto contingent representing at #mds2022 Anne Keller @itsmaxlazar Paula, Arjun, and Lindsay! Fun fact of the day so far - Coater Hanger Sign: neck/upper back pain in a coat hanger distribution that improves lying down, a sign of neurogenic orthostatic hypotension!

I only know how EPAs work in Department of Medicine University of Toronto - they don’t work. Time to pull the plug and start over using what we have learned from the experience so far. I understand the chairs of medicine in Canada have engaged in conversation with The Royal College.

A multitude of thanks to Dr. Meaghan Roy-O’Reilly, and Dr. Arghavan Salles, MD, PhD for their commentary on our teams work. Important perspective! #DocsWithDisabilities Stigma Associated With Requesting Accommodations—the High Cost of Ableism in Medicine jamanetwork.com/journals/jaman…
