It wasn't meant to be a first win in Sydney for Eliud Kipchoge, as the master was unable to discover his usual sparkling form, finishing in ninth place, with a time of 02:08:31. To see how he was greeted at the finish line shows what an inspiration he still is.

TENNIS Remarkable! As an fyi, from the 1982 Australian Open to 1985 Wimbledon, Martina Navratilova & Chris Evert split the Grand Slams 10/5. From the 1991 to 1994 AO, Monica Seles & Steffi Graff split the Grand Slams 7/6. It will be fun to see where Jannik & Carlos are down the road! 🎾💪🏆
