I’m an ex midwife. My NHS experience and knowledge of the system is valid. I’ve seen the opposite of what the public see. What I bring to the table is lived experience. I bring my truth, however uncomfortable - it’s desperately needed.

Last week I saw an ex-colleague midwife in the shop—she looked down, didn’t speak. Today, another ex-colleague midwife hugged me, no judgment, just joy. The difference between healed and unhealed people is everything. 💕
