"Compression" is a feature film by Evansville filmmaker Jacob Bilinski. It will be shown at 2:55pm in our WNIN screening room on Saturday, September 14. This film has been nominated for Best Feature, Best Hoosier Made Film, Best Director, and Best Actress.

"Pears" is from Atlanta based filmmaker Ryan McCurdy. This comedy was shot here in Evansville and includes a number of current, and former, Evansville residents. It screens in our 11am block at WNIN on Saturday, September 14.

Jim Dougherty is a professional actor and friend of the festival. He'll be teaching a workshop on the craft and business of acting. Gain practical and valuable information from an industry expert in this masterclass.

"Bird Drone" is an animated short by Radheya who is an alumni of our festival. His submissions are always well crafted, wonderful stories. See it during our opening night celebration or Saturday in Innovation Pointe during our 3-5p block.

Jordan Barclay's "Sack Race with Knives" will be shown during our Opening Celebration this evening. This short follows the work of artist Kevin Titzer and is nominated for Best Documentary and Best Director. It will be shown on Saturday at Encounter Church in the 1-3p block.

McManus is an actor and filmmaker that recently joined the faculty at USI. Film guru Ted Haycraft will be leading this discussion to talk about his time as a caveman and how he intends to inspire the next generation of filmmakers in the tri-state.

Gregg Hale was part of the team that created "The Blair Witch Project." In the past twenty-five years he's produced multiple film projects and recently released a fantasy novel titled "The Journey to Hada." Ted Haycraft will ask him questions about his career and what's next!

Paul Nethercott is a documentarian that has been mentoring young filmmakers for years. He will be walking attendees through steps for success after post production is done. If you have a film you want to get out in the world this is a must-see workshop.

Jordan Salazar won our Blair Witch 25th Anniversary Screening poster at this year's festival. Producer Gregg Hale signed it but he took things a step further. At ScareFest in Lexington, KY he scored autographs with the Terrified Trio of Heather, Mike and Josh. WTG, Jordan!
