PhD researcher Hosam Hosam Alden Baksamawi in Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine shows a ‘vein-on-a-chip’ with microscopic moving valves that open and close allowing researchers to study how blood flow affects clot formation in DVT replacing the use of mice in some studies. frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…
