Phenomenal presentation by UCSF Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine fellow Kayla Karvonen presenting data on experiences of discrimination by parents and providers in the NICU. Providers report witnessing & experiencing racism more than parents, for complicated, important reasons that need more investigation!

Important implications for treatment of acute disease. Thanks Erich S. Huang. MD, PhD Dr. K Gray and Dr. Subramaniam

Touched, Kayla Karvonen and Kristine Karvonen !! Thank you so much for telling our story. Grandma Blanche and Grandpa Boyd would be so proud!!
