Good morning Three Kings' Day! Otherwise known as Epiphany, or Twelfth Night. This is the traditional gift-giving day here in Spain, since no one got any gifts until the Kings arrived. It's also the last day of the Christmas season, so you can take down your decorations.

Good morning Tuesday. Now that the holiday season is officially over in Spain, everyone can go back to work at least until St. Anthony's day, in about 10 days, which some people take as a holiday. Especially people named Antonio.

Good morning Tuesday. Officially back from Málaga. Luna the Cat has almost forgiven us for being away. Life isn't back to normal yet, though. Since we were ill on the real day, Christmas dinner is tomorrow.

Good morning Wednesday. Happy to report that I'm back at work, picking up where I left off on chapter 7. I don't expect to advance much today, since we're having our Christmas dinner, but at least I know where I was/am.

Good morning Monday. A busy but not particularly productive weekend. We went to my cousin's on Saturday to eat olla de San Antón, a traditional dish for this time of year. Because, you know, feast of St. Anthony. Luckily nothing was lost, so no special prayers were needed.

Good morning #foodfriday. Haven't had much to share food-wise lately, but we recently had lunch in Bubión, one of the small villages in the Alpujaras. First the dessert, a great homemade flan, then leg of lamb, rabbit, and steak, with Mark. The steak was great, but Mark? Tough.

Good morning Monday. At last, a productive weekend, though filled with visits. It took a month and a half to finish chapter 7 (ok, we were sick) and only 2 and a half days to finish chapter 8. All the other chapters are now pointing at 7 and laughing. I said, it's not over yet.

Good morning Thursday. An interesting writing week in which chapters 8 and 9 are duking it out to see which of them gets to keep particular scene. I told them to behave themselves. There's always chapter 10. Luna the Cat has lost interest.

Good morning #TravelTuesday. Here's the cathedral in Malaga. When it was being built they ran out of money and stopped 1/2 way through the second tower. When money was found, the Malagueños decided not to finish it - 1/2 a tower makes their cathedral unique.
