It’s Love Parks Week - a celebration of the vital role green spaces play in our communities. Not only do they encourage physical activity and exercise on a daily basis, they are also ideal community hubs and event spaces.

Leigh Feast is a monthly event full of food, fun and fantastic entertainment! It takes place on the first Saturday of each month, which means they'll be back on Leigh civic Square THIS Saturday, 3rd August, with a host of family fun for all from 12pm-8pm.

Pennington Hall Park is a beautiful community space, right in the heart of Leigh. The former hall was gifted to the town in the 1920's and it's grounds have transformed over the years from a garden in to a much loved community park.

🚂The Haigh Woodland railway first opened in 1986 and takes a 1.6km route around the upper plantations of Haigh Woodland Park. It was a family favourite until its closure in 2020, so it's great to hear of the investment to bring this popular attraction back.
