All cats can be represented as a series of 2D sinusoids. Take a look - there's a cat on the left; select the sinusoid most like that cat (illustrated in the middle) and move it from the cat to the composite image (right). Over time we get our cat back! (xkcd.com/26/)

So a while back Vivian Imbriotis and I wrote a python package for displaying visual stimuli using the raspberry pi. But it doesn't work on new versions of the Pi. Well we're back and we've got some new tricks.
