Wishing everyone a joyful, meaningful #Shavuot! This festival celebrates the giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai & indulging in delicious milky treats like cheesecake. Shavuot holds special significance for many #Holocaust survivors & their families despite the horrors they faced.

Such fond memories of Kindness’ initial journey and it’s come so far since. Honouring Susan’s family, legacy and so many others who never had their voice to share. Thanks for sharing such special memories!

As #VolunteersWeek has come to an end, we wanted to say a big thank you to all of our volunteers, the unsung heroes of Voices! Every person who volunteers with us means so much to us. Every volunteer to us is precious, but we would like to highlight - Russell Hey and Cara Jones.

So proud of this little charity that does such profoundly important work and so delighted that we could share Kinloss with Michael Newman OBE from The Association of Jewish Refugees (AJR) sharing such important reflections in the evening. And, of course the incredible Susan Pollack OBE who we love dearly <3

Fabulous first day Auschwitz Memorial international education conference. Some really interesting lectures and panel discussions. #REmember Is Memory Enough in the 21st Century. Looking forward to tomorrow and more incredibly thought provoking sessions.

💜Our Artistic Director Cate Hollis is attending REmember International Educational Conference at Auschwitz Memorial in Poland. It's special for Cate to attend on behalf of Voices as it addresses our entire mission acting as a surrogate voice to those who died in the Holocaust.

Cate Hollis Cate Hollis (our Artistic Director and Education Lead) spent Day 2 at the REmember Auschwitz Memorial International Educational Conference in Poland. Cate listened to various panel sessions and attended important seminars on #Holocaust education and memory.

Wonderful to hear sessions on the final day of the Auschwitz Memorial International conference in Poland. Cate Hollis found the session on Memorial sites and Memory of Atrocities with Olivia Marks-Woldman OBE Holocaust Memorial Day Trust to be very poignant. #holocaust
