This is a win for local businesses and a win for creating a more fun and vibrant city. With yesterday's changes, Vancouver will now be home to the latest last call in Canada! #vanpoli

Good news for bars, restaurants & nightclubs! 🍻 Extended liquor hours give small businesses the flexibility they’ve been asking for. 🗣️ Glad to have shared CFIB member feedback with Mayor & Council yesterday. #vanpoli

Glad this was approved by council today. While it will be hard to stem online sales, or people bringing them into Vancouver, this is a start and will help prevent extremely dangerous interactions between police who must take necessary precautions & the public. #vanpoli

Vancouver has become the first city in Canada to ban gun shaped lighters. These lighters have been a source of public distress and erroneous 911 calls, resulting in numerous dangerous encounters for police. This step will save taxpayers money and make Vancouver a safer city.

🚫 The opposition says we need more data on Kits Pool. We say pool users have spoken loud and clear. The system is clearly broken when desktop studies trump real-world experiences. The latest poll: vancitylookout.com/p/kitsilano-po… #Vancouver #KitsPool #KitsilanoPool #vanpoli

This will be a great change. This intersection on the Arbutus Greenway is a bit awkward for cyclists on the Greenway, as well as pedestrians.

Everyone deserves safe and accessible options to get around Vancouver. Today, with the completion of phase one of the Granville Connector project, the Granville Bridge has become a safer place for everyone. We're proud to be tackling Vancouver's infrastructure deficit!

The opposition says we need to “visit the pool” to see what’s "really going on." This is Kits Pool at 11am on a sunny Saturday 👀:
