Hey Siri, can you play back to back by Drake? #TakeBackTexas | First Responder Bowl

Shoutout to SMHS Floral Design for the flowers and the new reusable tumbler—much appreciated! It’s great to feel the support, especially during #SchoolBoardAppreciationMonth. Thanks again for thinking of us! #SMCISD

Breaking my Twitter hiatus for two things: 1. I was the loudest opponent of the 4-day school week (and it showed). 2. The County Judge stays busy with car shows—I’ll stick to public policy. Thanks for having our back, Erin Zwiener! That’s all. Carry on. 🚶♂️

This morning, United Way of Hays and Caldwell Counties partnered with St. David's Foundation to host a Community Conversation on their $10M grant opportunity supporting economic stability for the healthcare workforce. Excited to see strong local collaborations come to life! #LiveUnited

Today marks an exciting milestone for San Marcos CISD as we break ground on Irene K. Mendez Elementary, symbolizing a brighter future for our community! Dr. Michael Cardona Terrence M. Sanders, Ed.D. San Marcos CISD HR San Marcos CISD Anne Halsey Juan Miguel Arredondo Kristina Woody

Big day in San Marcos CISD! We broke ground on the new Mendez Elementary campus—a huge win for our students & families. It’s also Signing Day! Proud of all grads, especially the record group headed to Texas State University. This is town-and-gown at its best. Eat ’Em Up, Cats!

Appreciate Lisa and the HaysCountyFoodBank for the invite to walk in this year’s Mermaid Promenade. A uniquely San Marcos tradition that reminds us why river stewardship and community care go hand in hand. Grateful for the work y’all do year-round.

On May 19, #SMCISD held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Felipe Reyna Administration Building—a proud moment honoring Mr. Reyna’s legacy and celebrating the future of our district! Thank you to San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce & community members in attendance for this historical event!

This morning, San Marcos High School seniors took their final walk through our flagship campus. Parents, teachers, and community members lined the halls in purple and white to cheer them on.
