I will never turn down an opportunity to talk up the South of Scotland so it was a delight to once again get the opportunity at the SSDA - South of Scotland Destination Alliance conference last week. However it was even more satisfying to hear from others on stage and the energy in the venue was palpable.

As always, it was a pleasure to celebrate Galashiels businesses at the Galashiels Heartland Awards on Friday evening. Congratulations to all the finalists, and well done to those who were voted winners on the night!
