Notable performance- 2025 6’3 CG Gavin Cooley of VR Boys Basketball was lights out today. Scored 19 points in the effort. Shoots it well, has a nose for the ball on the boards, has some length and can guard all five positions.

Notable performance - Chaz Poulk 6’2 WF of VR Boys Basketball has been consistently good today. Scored double figures vs Druid hills and recorded 11 boards vs Griffin. 2027 player.

Game 7 MVP- VR Boys Basketball 5’10 2028 pg Josiah Nolen plays with a motor. Was consistent all day and caused fits on both ends of the floor. Definitely someone who has potential for the incoming freshman class

Notable performer- 2025 6’3 CG Gavin Cooley of VR Boys Basketball continues to show why he’s a player of note in. 2025 in GA. A very good scorer at all 3 levels showed off his leaping ability this weekend and never gives up on the play. A very smart player who had a lot of ability.

2027 6’4 𝐷𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑀𝑐𝐶𝑟𝑎𝑦 2027 made some nice plays and hit some mid range jumpers as well. A raw talent, but with two years left VR Boys Basketball has a nice player on their hands to develop

‘29 Jaden Barnes helped VR Boys Basketball come from behind to earn a 46-39 win over Alcovy His energy off the bench with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Most of the production was in the second half.

‘26 Brandon Williams of VR Boys Basketball has himself an afternoon. The highly energetic forward finished with 15 points in a 61-33 win over Banneker. He also had 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.

2029 @jjasonhart of VR Boys Basketball had some big plays down the stretch as Villa Rica held off Collins Hill to finish 3-1 on the weekend. The youngster plays with some big heart, is sneaky good at getting to the paint, and was efficiently finishing from the middle third.
