STATE CHAMPION. Senior Naomi Hunter wins the girls' 3200-meter run for SHS Track And Field with a time of 10:58.46 in the Class 4 State Championships. She's the second 3200 state champion in school history and first since 2019.

Naomi Hunter wins gold in the class 4 3200 m run yesterday with a school record time of 10:58.46! She is the second 3200 m gold medalist in school history! She also anchored the Girls 4x800 team who took 6th, and has two more events today, the 800 and 1600! Congrats Naomi!

STATE MEDALIST. Senior Naomi Hunter earns seventh overall in the girls' 800-meter run for SHS Track And Field with a time of 2:19.17 in the Class 4 State Championships. Hunter has won state in the 3200, finished as state runner-up in the 1600 and now medaled in the 800 this weekend.

Nothing makes me happier than camp week! So grateful to have our first ever co-ed K-6 camp and our 7-12 boys showed out as always but walk onto our campus today and notice all the summer camps happening and you'll know that the community support at Smithville is second to none!

Today was our first official day of summer classes in the weight room! Over 225 high schoolers in attendance today, that's over 1/4 of the entire student body! Plus an additional 135 middle schoolers as well! Warriors are off to a strong start!
