HEC is the #1 threat to elephants in Nigeria. With support from EU in Nigeria πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡³πŸ‡¬, a new method using locally-made cannons - "bangers" is being introduced to scare elephants away from farmlands – protecting crops vital for local livelihoods, and protecting Nigeria’s last elephants.
