They can’t give away St. Louis Cardinals tickets right now. 5 years, perhaps a decade of greed and neglect has destroyed the relationship fans have with the club. It’s heartbreaking. #STLCards

Captain says americanair software outage preventing weight & balance calculations “company-wide” with no estimate on resolution. Flights unable to depart as a result. Not a good start to Christmas Eve travel!

Back on board, so I am assuming the americanair software is back online. A much faster recovery than expected, but the ripple effects will be significant across the network. Buckle up for a challenging travel day.

2024 was an incredible year that again saw me travel more than 100,000 miles across 100+ flights, and it’s tough to narrow down those trips to a top 10 — but these 10 were deserving of reflection. Read my year in review: wheelchairtravel.org/accessible-tra…

Congratulations, Madison! Watched the match on a nearly 24-hour delay, but so thrilled to see such amazing tennis! It was worth the wait! Two absolute pros battling it out in Melbourne! #AusOpen

Politics aside, I don’t think it is helpful to conflate the civil right to equal access with DEI programs. Most companies, even those with large-scale DEI initiatives, have left disabled people out because we are the “wrong” type of diversity. #EqualAccessEverywhere.

Frustrating that the Apostolic Nunciature in the United States is not wheelchair accessible. The Catholic Church needs to wake up, here in the USA, in Vatican City, and abroad. #DisabledCatholics #CatholicTwitter

Dear FSU community, Today, we experienced a tragic and senseless act of violence at the heart of our campus. At lunchtime, an active shooter opened fire at the Student Union. Two were killed. Six others were injured. We are heartbroken. We are grieving with the families,

Habemus Papam! I join my Catholic brothers and sisters, and the whole world, in celebrating the “news of great joy,” the election of Pope Leo XIV. Pray for us, Holy Father, as we pray for you. Alleluia!

For the first time ever, the most famous American in the world is not the president or a Hollywood icon or tech billionaire — it’s the pope. This is more than a Catholic triumph; it’s a cultural watershed for the United States. In a society that often equates American

Great job, americanair, leaving an electric wheelchair out in the pouring rain for 10 minutes (and counting!) at Reagan Airport with no protection. Secretary Sean Duffy, the $50 million fine levied by Pete Buttigieg didn’t go far enough. Time to step up & deliver #EqualAccessEverywhere.

An americanair gate agent was asking for $50 to seat a mother next to her 5-year-old daughter today on AA3209, STL-DCA. I spoke up. The airline did finally honor its family seating policy, but initially attempted to charge a fee. More training is required.
