Lost a tough one tonight 75-73 to Mobile. A really good ballgame between two good teams. We just didn’t shoot it very well and had several defensive breakdowns down the stretch. Have to get ready for a red hot Loyola team on Saturday. Great crowd!

We just weren’t able to recover from Thursday’s game and came out very flat, losing today 83-65. Loyola was ready and shot 69% in the 1st half while we shot 24%. Down by 22!! We showed a lot of resolve by fighting back and cutting the lead to 10 points but couldn’t pull closer.

Congratulations to Dylan Brumfield and Cam Brown for being named 1st team SSAC All Conference as announced at our award banquet this evening. Props also to Ankerion Gross for being named as a Champion of Character award winner. Proud of you guys!!

WCU MBB lost today vs. Life University, 84-80 in the SSAC Tournament Quarterfinals. We led many times in the 2nd half. They just made more plays down the stretch than we did. We are now 19-10 and Life moves to 23-6. We have nothing to be ashamed of and competed at a high level!

Today is the day the NAIA will announce the participants and brackets for the 2025 National Tournament Opening Rounds. We have our fingers crossed! If you want to watch the selection show, tune in at 7:00 pm to NAIA.org/Watch. It's free to watch but you must register.

WCU MBB has received an at-large bid to the NAIA National Tournament and will be headed to Langston, OK for opening round play next Friday vs. Central Baptist College (Ark). This will be our 14th appearance in the National Tournament. So proud of and happy for our guys! Go Saders
