Second seeded Thompson Tommie Baseball knocked off Renville County 9-1, Tommies are into the semifinals later today. They'll face Northern Cass in what should be a great matchup.

In Class B softball, Des Lacs-Burlington is in the title game for the first time since 2018. The Lakers scored 12 unanswered runs to knock off Hillsboro-Central Valley, 13-4. DLB-LC Softball

Central Cass will go for a 7th state title Saturday, after beating Beulah, 9-2. The Squirrels will face Des Lacs-Burlington for the Class B title at 4:30 on WDAY Xtra. Squirrel Softball

For the fourth time in five years, Sheyenne Mustangs Baseball is on top in Class A baseball. The Mustangs held off Minot, 6-5 to win the title. An amazing run by Sheyenne, who came into the EDC Tournament as the number 7 seed.

The mission was completed this afternoon by Squirrel Softball. After falling in the state title game last year, the Squirrels get some redemption with a 4-1 win over Des Lacs-Burlington. It's the seventh state softball title for Central Cass.

A dynasty continued tonight at Newman Outdoor Field as Thompson Tommie Baseball won a fourth straight Class B baseball crown, knocking off L-L-M, 10-7. The Tommies entered state as the three seed and leave again as the state champions.
