Happy #PAWD2024 to all the women and girls across the continent! Barriers such as #GBV, economic constraints, and cultural biases are hindering women and girls from accessing quality education. Today, we collectively renew our commitment to addressing these barriers!

We say we are dying because women & girls are dying on a daily basis. The #AUEVAWGConvention on paper will save us no people. We want it implemented. We want it ratified. We want it domesticated. ~ Ms. Victoria Maloka, Head of Coordination & Outreach Division African Union Women, Gender & Youth Directorate.
